Losing the tournament was a bittersweet moment because the girls worked together as a team but it was almost as if their hard work didn't pay off. Alayna Wells and Shelby Hatter are now better prepared for future tournaments. "I won my match by a lot which doesn't happen a lot so I was really proud of myself," said Wells.

Brown receiving her fourth place trophy at the Central Hardin Bruin Invitational. This tournament was held on Aug. 2 where she shot a 76. Brown was hoping for a lower score as she's used to placing higher, "We always practice what we should do or need to work on... Sometimes as a team, tournaments don’t go as well as practice," said Brown.
