This is Marissa Herron. She is a sophomore and in her first year on the Livewire staff, serving as the Sports Editor. Her club involvement includes FBLA (serving as Parliamentarian on the officer team), FCA, Beta Club, Redzone Rowdies leadership team, New Voices, Project Unify, Bullitt County Youth Coalition, and the Bullitt County VIP poster campaign. In her free time, she loves watching/going to college volleyball games, being with her friends and family, playing outside, volleyball, reading her Bible, listening to music, shopping, and being with her church youth group. She has always had a passion for writing, so Livewire was her calling. She is pumped to learn lots of new skills and grow her passion for journalism, while covering amazing sports.
