It feels nice

To have you by my side again

And for me to poke at you lovingly

As if I’d ever make fun of you

You may be the fastest person in the world,

But you’re slow to catching my moves

That show how much I love you

But I know you feel the same

I see how you smile at me

I’d rather look at you than look at the stars,

And I’d do anything to get you to hear me

But I love you just the way you are

Giggling at my silly words or making cute signs with your hands in response

I wouldn’t have it any other way

Beautiful, beautiful, the way you move

And how you worked your way into my heart and soul

Wonderful, wonderful, the way you love others

And the inspiration you are to me

What a pretty, pretty, soul

And such the pretty face

How could a wash up like me

End up on your shores

I’d rip up the world to keep you safe

And mend it together at your wishes

I know you’ll do anything to keep me safe,

Trust me darling, I’ve seen it

But based on the position we have,

We both are never safe

And might never get a moment alone

But we have an eternity ahead of us

To keep the people safe,

And to have you protected in my arms

Take my hand, take my whole life too

Cause I just can’t help

Falling in love with you

That’s how the humans say it, right?
