A ‘Touchdown’ of a Magic Trick

Head Football Coach Ethan Atchley having a face of confusion. Apr. 29, Atchley watched a magic trick, and was quite fooled. “Well, I mean, obviously, you had me. Really shuffled the deck up, and put them with the note. You flipped them over, and obviously, you had cards go in different directions. So, I was a little confused at that, at first, but I see why, and ultimately, you had every four or five of your predictions were all correct. So, it was definitely unique,” Atchley said.

Every prediction correct.

Head Football Coach Ethan Atchley was quite fooled, after seeing a deck of cards be fully shuffled, yet still have all my predictions be fully correct.

Atchley definitely enjoyed watching the trick and was quite confused. He believes that the magic trick was unique. If Atchley were to need to hire someone for entertainment, he would hire me as a magician.

Atchley was absolutely clueless about how the trick was done. “Well, I mean, obviously, you had me. Really shuffled the deck up, and put them with the note. You flipped them over, and obviously, you had cards go in different directions. So, I was a little confused at that, at first, but I see why, and ultimately, you had every four or five of your predictions were all correct. So, it was definitely unique,” Atchley said, “Oh, well, I thought it was pretty good. I didn’t quite know what we were getting into with that prediction card, but it was spot on. So, that’s always good whenever you guys can pull off real magic tricks, and it was a different one. I’ve never seen anything like it.”

When it comes to the performance of the trick, and the way that the trick was carried out, he thought it was a 10, but he doesn’t think he could do it himself. “Definitely a ten (out of ten), because I was a little confused with the whole two props, and the prediction cards, and then at the end, when obviously I thought you might have messed it up, except for the fact that you had the three of diamonds, that was in fact, one of the cards that was, kind of, the zinger at the end,” Atchley said. On a scale from zero to 10, Atchley believes it was a 10, with it really fooling him, and him finding the magic trick quite unique.

Atchley would hire me as a form of entertainment for an event, and he definitely believes that others should too. “Yeah, absolutely (I would hire you), because people like magic. I think it’s funny, and I think it’s unique, in that you can do a whole bunch of things that you really know a lot of other people can’t do. So, I just don’t take the time to do it; I just like magic tricks,” Atchley said, “Yeah (others should hire you); you can use me as a reference when somebody needs somebody to call, and find out about, Brodie, and The Magic Duck.”

Atchley would be interested in seeing another magic trick. “Yes, absolutely; you can come by anytime. Let’s do another one,” Atchley said.

Now, if you’re interested in seeing a magic trick from me, and getting to be on, “Brodie’s Monthly Magic,” or you have a friend that you think would be interested in that, then you can email me at [email protected].
