Magician Doesn’t Do Anything, But Still Gets Card Right

Washington County High School sophomore Aimee Raymond waving her hand over the deck, while I pay close attention. Mar. 19, Raymond was performed a magic trick to, and she considered herself to be impressed. “I thought that the magic trick was great. It was super impressive,” Raymond said, “I was pretty fooled, because you just kept randomly picking out cards, and I was wondering how you didn’t know that one of those weren’t my card.”

The power of waving.

Washington County High School sophomore Aimee Raymond waved her hand over the deck, and I was able to find out what her card was.

Raymond had fun watching the trick and was quite fooled. She believes that the magic trick was impressive. If Raymond were to need to hire someone for entertainment, she would probably hire me as a magician.

Raymond was pretty fooled on how the trick was done. “I was pretty fooled, because you just kept randomly picking out cards, and I was wondering how you didn’t know that one of those weren’t my card,” Raymond said. During the trick, Raymond had to cut the deck, pick a card, and other things. Then, I spread out the deck, and was able to find out what card hers was. To find out how it happened, watch the video above.

When it comes to the performance of the trick, and the way that the trick was carried out, she thought it was seven out of 10, because she’s actually seen better, from me. “Probably a seven, because honestly, the very first magic trick you ever showed me, was mind-blowing,” Raymond said. Raymond wouldn’t do the magic trick, herself, because she, “is not a magician.”

Raymond would hire me as a form of entertainment for an event, for a younger age group, and she believes that others should too, because the magic is entertaining. “I would if I had a party, for a bunch of eight year olds,” Raymond said, “Yes (others should hire me for a show), because it’s pretty entertaining, and it gets you thinking.”

Raymond would be interested in seeing another magic trick. “It’s fun to watch,” Raymond said.

Also, in case you were wondering who the person clapping in the background was, it was sophomore Tawney Noyes.

Now, if you’re interested in seeing a magic trick from me, and getting to be on, “Brodie’s Monthly Magic,” or you have a friend that you think would be interested in that, then you can email me at [email protected].
