Out with the old and in with the new

Apple just released the new Iphone 11 to their stores today around 8:00 A.M.

At their fall 2019 event Apple announced the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 pro, and the iPhone 11 pro max.September 20 Apple dropped their new iPhone line to its stores. With the amount of people who wanted to get the new phone Apple was forced to make two lines, one for walk ins and one for people who made appointments, in front of their doors. The iPhone 11 has two cameras while the iPhone 11 pro and pro max have three. Coming with the iPhone 11 is better battery life. The iPhone also has a night mode and a wide angle camera. The wide angle camera can be found in the normal camera app but when you tap the button that says 1x the camera gives you the wider shot. The camera now adds a slo mo video on the front facing camera. This new feature is being called the slofie. Like the previous IPhone the iPhone 11 has facial recognition and lacks a home button. The iphone 11 comes in 6 different colors including black, white, purple, green, yellow, and Product Red. The iPhone 11 pro and pro max however do not have that many colors to choose from. The two phones come in space gray, gold, silver, and the brand new midnight green. The iPhone X had 5.8” super retina HD display with a glass and stainless steel design while the iPhone 11 has a 6.1”  liquid retina HD display. 

On a poll posted to the Livewire instagram 87 percent of people said they weren’t going to buy the iPhone 11. 52 people said they would not buy the phone to 8 people who said they would.  Most of their answers when asked why was that they think it looks ugly. People don’t like how the phone has two or more cameras. “I believe a lot of people are not deciding to get the new iPhone 11 because it looks weird with two cameras,” said junior Tori Nation.

Today I went down to the Apple store to buy the news Iphone. The workers were extremely nice and helpful to everyone. The only thing that was bad about my experience was the line. The line was extremely long but they had snacks,coffee, and water for people who were waiting. Now that I have the phone I am extremely happy with it. The green is an amazing color very pretty and eye catching. The new add on to the phone make the long line worth it. I would recommend that if you are going to get a new phone get the iPhone 11 because it is better and cheaper than the X.
