The boys’ soccer team played the Christian Academy of Louisville first this week Tuesday, Aug. 27. Then they played Fairdale at home Thursday, Aug. 29. 

Tuesday, Aug. 27, the team played on  Christian Academy of Louisville’s field. They won 4-0 with senior Zak Perdew and junior Landon Clark scoring two points each.

The boys defeated Fairdale 3-1 on Thursday, Aug. 29 on the home field. Senior Evan Wright scored twice during the game and senior Zak Perdew scores one also. 

Yellow cards and a red card were given to players on both teams. Lucas Cark and Evan Ekbundit received a yellow for an illegal substitute from confusion with the ref. Xavier Glauber received one for running at the keeper and Ekbundit received a second yellow, making it red, for backtalking.  Ekbundit will have to sit out for the next game.

This week, the boys have two games. The first is Tuesday, Sept. 5at home, against Iroquois at 5:30 p.m. Then they play at Nelson County, against Nelson County at 7 p.m.
