Halfway through the season and the Charger Basketball Team has played at least 16 teams.

This week, the Chargers competed in the Louisville Invitational Tournament held at Valley High School. On Monday, Dec. 14, the boys basketball team played against Butler and won with a score of 50-49 after Thomas Wiseheart shot both free throws with 3.5 seconds left and made it. After winning Monday’s game, the team then played Seneca High School on Wednesday, Jan. 16 and lost with a score of 74-54.

Next week the boys and girls take on a doubleheader at Fern Creek High School, Tuesday, Jan. 22. The boys also go up against Bullitt Central at Bullitt Central on Friday, Jan. 25.
