Lou Will couldn’t miss against the Warriors.

Clippers guard Lou Williams scores career-high 50 points against the Warriors.

Lou Williams caught fire Wednesday night in his game at Oracle Arena. His team picked up the win against the mighty Golden State Warriors with a score of 125-106. Williams wasn’t the only one with a good night with Kevin Durant scoring 40 for the Warriors. Durant also became the fifth player in NBA history to score 20,000 points before the age of 30.

But Williams’ night outshined Durants.Williams scored 27 of his 50 in the third quarter. He shot 16 of 27 for the game and hit eight three-pointers. If you didn’t think that was enough, Williams also handed out seven assists to go along with the 50. Williams also got to the foul line and went 10-10 from it.

The Warriors also had a five-game winning streak going that was snapped by Williams and the Clippers. The Warriors have also won the last twelve games against the Clippers. Williams wasn’t the only guy getting buckets for the Clippers. Rookie Tyrone Wallace came off the bench and scored 22 points to contribute to their big win.
