Snow has hit Bullitt County, bringing in cold weather and ice along with it.

Schools were closed yesterday, Jan. 12 because of the snow. Many of the side roads were still snow covered on Sat. Jan. 13, but the main roads like Hwy. 44 were good. More snow is expected to hit the area on Monday Jan. 15. Bullitt County Public Schools closed schools because of the forecast of heavy snow, but also because “we’ve had quite a bit of flu as well, so maybe a four day weekend will help with attendance” according to the BCPS Facebook page.
