Senior Christian Foster played for the first time with East’s football team last Friday against Shelby County. It was their first victory of the season, 56-31, but it may not even count.

It was decided, after the fact, by school officials that Foster was not eligible to play that Friday. She did not complete six practices, only five, which are required for players to participate in games. So unfortunately, Foster’s fumble recovery and 8 out of 8 scored field goal points will possibly not count.

There was a self-report filed by East to the KHSAA (Kentucky High School Athletic Association). Most likely, last week’s game will have to be forfeited. But thankfully, Foster will still be able to play in tonight’s game against Nelson County.
