Charger Nation Has Its Own Charger
Yesterday morning, Bullitt East Assistant Principal, Erik Huber, picked up a stray kitten, now called Charger, in the parking lot.
“Mr. Huber came in here this morning with the little kitten. It was so cute. Well, we talked about where it would go and I tried calling the shelter, but they weren’t taking any kittens right now. After that, I called Mr. Gosser and he agreed to take the cat temporarily,” said Jo Perkins.
“Mrs. Thompson went to go get it food, and the cat ate a lot. I tried moving the bowel to see how it would respond, and it kept on eating. From that it seemed to have a home at some point in its life,” said Perkins.
After a few class periods in Dustin Gosser’s room, Elizabeth Owens decided to take the young cat home with her.
From Katy Kendrick, one of Owen’s teachers, described her as a, “really big cat lover.”
