This generation’s favorite gruesome, humorous, evil clown is back. Art the clown’s back into the horror franchise stronger than ever. 

 The terrifier franchise started as a low budget movie that started back in 2016 that turned into the most watched movie in the theater with only being out for a week that had made $18 million dollars worldwide. 

 Terrifier 3 being the biggest movie of October 2024. The terrifier 3 is one of the most gruesome movies to be out in this age group. Terrifier 3 gives us a storyline that we can base off 

Cineverse Crop released the new terrifier movie which is the third movie of the trilogy. The date it affected the horror industry was October 11th 2024. The film was written and  directed by Damien Leone. The cast follows David Howard Thorton as art the clown yet again, Lauren LaVera returning as sienna shaw trying to defeat art with her little brother played by Eilliott Fullman. However with another twist Samantha Scaffidi returns to her role from the 1st movie as Vicky Heyes. The budget for this movie was $2 million dollars and they started filming that February after the second trilogy came out. Terrifier 3 premiered in the UK on October 2 2024 with several audiences walking out and even one of them puked due to horrifying senses that were on the big screens. 

Howard, who plays the clown, was excited to get back into the movies and was very excited for this third movie. This movie was bigger and better than the previous movies they have made in the past due to more gore and intensity of the improvements of the film. He was also very pleased with the character development of the clown, even though he is still the murderer clown. There was a scene that was almost too much for him that he felt like the director put in the movie just to gross him out. That involved the rats down the lady’s mouth. He felt very comfortable during this scene. The movie has been banned in France, which has been the first horror movie banned since “Saw 3” in 2006. Minors have banned minors completely from seeing the third movie.   

 These movies have come a long way from the beginning of the storyline. The first movie we didn’t get any background information, it was just simply a bunch of murders that happened on Halloween night. In the second movie we see a little girl that comes to art but only he can see it, which multiple people say is his first victim. The point of her was to resurrect the clown. Although art has died in both of the terrifier movies, he finds a way to somehow come back which is what he did in the third one. At the end of the second movie we see the little girl giving art head to Victoria who is in a mental hospital.  Now art had been using Victoria as a vessel. Five years later is when the third movie begins.  In the beginning we see art and Victoria being in a state of hibernation waiting to be released for the past 5 years, they have been sitting in this abandoned house. Then after being pulled out of hibernation by killing guys that were supposed to clean the house. Art goes on a killing spree getting closer and closer to Sienna Shaw and her younger brother to try and finish what he started.       

With how the third movie ended there is definitely going to be a fourth movie. However in some fans’ opinions while they love the film they think the fourth movie is going to be too much for the story line. They ended the third off with adding a big part into the storyline which of course they need to make another movie to explain it but adding major points to the storyline in the third movie is insane
