Boy’s tennis has had a terrific season leading up to now!
The team beat North Bullitt in the 1st round of regionals on May 6, and have so much more to look forward to.
With Varsity destroying every team by winning 11 matches and only losing 2, they are preparing for regionals. “I feel like we are prepared for regional play as I tried to schedule most of the matches against good teams that make us better,” Coach Dustin Armstrong said.
The upcoming weeks will test the team both skillfully and emotionally as the seniors prepare for their last few matches. “I never talk about that with my seniors. We only talk about the next match and how they need to prepare and play. That should be the only focus right now,” Armstrong said.
“I’m just going out there, giving it my all, and making sure to take every single piece of advice that my coach gives me on the court and before the matches, and try to put it all out on there,” Trenton Wood, a senior on the boy’s tennis team said.
